Abstract

Background: The study of semantics for understanding the meaning results in understanding the intended meaning of the word in the Qur’anic verses, which has an important semantic value because it is related to the Holy Qur’an and shows the Qur’anic miracle, even though the Qur’an contains important matters from different aspects. Objectives: To know the phonetic connotation, grammatical connotation, morphological connotation, lexical connotation and contextual connotation in Surat Luqman, and knowledge of educational values ​​from Quranic connotations in Surat Luqman. Method: The approach used by the researcher in this topic is the qualitative approach, and the method used is a descriptive, analytical, and semantic method. Research Results: 1). The audio indication of that Surat Luqman, including the extended, the tone and the intonation. 2). The grammatical significance, including prepositions, nouns, sign and objection in the word, prepositions, the pronoun of separation, the future tense, the participle, the noun of preference, the conjunctions and the singular. 3). The morphological connotation, including the incremental verbs do, the suspicious adjective, the verb weight, the active weight, and the subject weight, as well as an exaggeration in the descriptive. 4). The lexical significance, including the farmer, the beast, the wisdom, the mustard, the lug and the rain. 5). The contextual significance of it is appropriate to what preceded it and appropriate to what preceded it of the verse. 6). The educational value of the Qur’anic indications in Surat Luqman is adherence to the Noble Qur’an and the Sunnah, avoidance of distractions, adherence to obedience and good deeds, devotion to God Almighty, reading in the interpretation of the stories of the prophets and reflecting on their meanings in their steadfastness on the truth, patience, prayer, necessity of wisdom and thanks to God, then parents, repentance and return to God Almighty with repentance and remembrance Good companionship, abandoning blind imitation, taking advice and admonition, calling to God Almighty, studying monotheism and strengthening it, and sensing that the reference and the one who turns back is to God.
